I have been complaining heaps about how cold its been lately in sydney. we have had the coldest day in July in over 21 years in the last week. which has made it super hard to get up early in the morning and walk to the bus stop. my whole ears and nose have been freezing cold!
but the positive side I keep telling myself is that there is heaps of snow all over the snowy mountains!!! and its even better because I am going there for the weekend. I can’t wait. only 2 days of snowboarding but it is super exciting. got my board out last night and was instantly transported back to Canada and all the good times over there. There’s 130cm snow last time I checked, but thats only the average depth, and it keeps on falling too.
we pulled off a lucky win at soccer on the weekend. Put a ball in the net in the last 5 mins to win 1-0. Not a very good game for us as we were playing the bottom team I think, and last week we won 4-1 against a lower table team. I got one shot at goal which was so unlucky to miss, just bounced off the post.
For me a good game Played the whole game, so two 40 mins halves non stop as we had no subs. Next week its the only team to beat us so we are hoping for a better performance.
